Thorbardin Ranch is a world leader in managing Highland cattle. We maintain one of the largest registered Highland cattle herds in North America at our ranch in Buffalo, Wyoming. We maintain a larger herd of purebred Highland and Highland composites cattle at our Laramie, Wyoming ranch.

Thorbardin Ranch employs sustainable, all natural production management that increases the land's production for both cattle and for wildlife. Our ranches work closely with the National Conservation Resource Center and the many wildlife groups in the state to improve both rangeland for grazing but also wildlife habitat for a wide range of animals including big game and birds.
